Christmas is the time when we joyously celebrate the birth of Christ; yet the title for this message is “Christmas is about the cross”. There is even mystery in this adoption - He has chosen us, not because we are more worthy than another, but because He loved us and chose us before we were born, before time even began. The truth is that some things are loved because they are worthy; other things are worthy because they are loved.
