Do you ever feel like your schedule controls you instead of you controlling it? Americans are becoming increasingly busy; sometimes to the point where there families and health suffer. If you’ve ever felt the stress of having too much to do, this message is for you! You’ll learn that God wants you to slow down sometimes. During His ministry, Jesus took time to be alone with his disciples and even took time to be by Himself. We often forget that we were not intended to pack our schedules so full that we neglect our relationship with God. Even though it can mean saying “no” to good things, it is essential to manage this area of our lives.

Divorce is not an easy topic to discuss, but it is one that has increasingly been challenging the church of Christ. Divorce is always the result of sin, be it the sin of one of the spouses or both. The Bible is very clear - God HATES divorce. His intention is that marriages stay together. In John 14:6, Jesus states that He is the ONLY way to get to heaven. Wouldn’t it have seemed more fair if he’d said that he was a good way to get to heaven? In our post-modern culture, absolute truth is looked down upon as being politically incorrect, intolerant and arrogant; but the Bible’s claims are clear. Christ is the only way.
