In this first message of a four-part series, David will be describing what worship is. In our culture, it is often synonymous with “church singing.” Worship is much more than singing. Really, worship is all of life.

The final week of this series will focus on two descriptions that the Bible uses of David that define him as a leader worth following. It provides us with a model and a goal in our leadership roles.
In every difficult decision or leadership moment we face, we choose between building God’s kingdom and building our own kingdoms.
Ask yourself these 3 questions: Whose agenda am I following? Whose kingdom am I building? Whose purpose am I pursuing?
To be a leader worth following we must serve God’s purpose and shepherd people with skill and integrity for His glory - not for ours.

We all have HOPES – children and adults alike. In this talk, David considers what it meant to live under the Reign of King Herod – and how the wise men declaring that “the King of the Jews” has been born would raise great hope among a repressed people. This talk reveals the great hope that is still found in Christ.

In Matthew 6 Jesus gives us three principles to help us think rightly about fear and finances. In this final talk, David shows Jesus’ clear instruction on how to choose what you worry about. Whatever we are devoted to is what we will worry about. So we need to choose our devotions very carefully.
