Forgiveness is not easy. Especially when somebody has sinned against us over and over again. But Jesus commands us to forgive others’ sins or the Father will not forgive ours. So the next time you think that a sin against you is just TOO much to forgive, remember how many sins of yours God has forgiven.

Kindness

When telling the story of the good Samaritan, Jesus gave us the ultimate model for showing kindness. It’s easy to be kind to people who are our friends or who are like us - but what about people who have wronged us? Suddenly, the charge of loving our neighbors as ourselves becomes much more difficult. Yet that is precisely what Jesus asks us to do.

Sorry - Out of Order

Do you ever feel like your schedule controls you instead of you controlling it? Americans are becoming increasingly busy; sometimes to the point where there families and health suffer. Christmas is the time when we joyously celebrate the birth of Christ; yet the title for this message is “Christmas is about the cross”.  It may seem a bit confusing - don’t we usually talk about the cross at Easter?  Take a fresh look at the birth of Jesus, remembering that Christ was born to be the ultimate sacrifice; a sacrifice that began in a manger in the town of Bethlehem and culminated at the cross.
